THAT takes 'DOMINION' in a person or a group will grant a reprieve from habits or addictions even sexual predilections 'MIRACULOUSLY'...

ONLY to have that person become so dogmatic in their convictions about their former addiction they will both judge and crucify anyone not 'delivered' and 'living' like them daily.

THIS spirit is VICIOUS and always SUSPICIOUS.

IT will denigrate and shame 'anyone' who does not observe its own prescribed and always 'EXTRA'  rituals...

USING the BIBLE to DEFEND their 'style' and 'religiosity' while CRUCIFYING and BURYING those people over there...as the annointed and appointed authority ordained to be 'judge', 'jury' and 'executioner'...themselves.

'PREVENIENT GRACE'

Prior to our awareness of God, God prepares us to turn to HIM.

Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless drawn by the Father who sent me." (John 6:44; see also Jeremiah 31:3; 1 John 4:10) 

These, and other scriptures, are clear in demonstrating that God cultivates our hearts long before we have any inclination to turn to God. 

Even amidst the tattered shreds of our sinful existence, as fallen creatures totally incapable of even desiring to turn to God, the Holy Spirit creates within us a desire for a relationship with God. 

This gracious activity takes place well ahead of our consciousness of it; indeed, we often believe that our returning to God is something that we cook up within our own souls. 

Quite the contrary, scripture makes it plain that it is God's gift of grace which, initially, sparks are thought, interest, and desire to come to God:

Jeremiah 1:5 (ESV): "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you..."

Jeremiah 31:3 (KJV): "...I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

Ezekiel 34:11, 16 (ESV): "For thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I, I myself will search for my sheep and will seek them out...I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak..."

Luke 19:10: "For the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

John 6:44: "No man can come unto me, unless the Father who hath sent me, draw him..."

John 12:32: "And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”

Romans 2:4: "...the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance..."

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB): "In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise..."

Philippians 2:12-13: "...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God that worketh in you according to his good pleasure, both to will and to do."

1 John 4:19: "We love him, because he first loved us."

Titus 2:11: "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men."

ABBA FATHER...

My focus now is unabashedly on 'HIGHER THINGS'...in HEAVENLY PLACES. 

PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT, 'i' surrendered everything 'i' am, have and hope to be.

Not 'even' concerned about what any man can do to me...

Not 'even' concerned about that inheritance...promised the redeemed...

As my worship and praise is not based on those 'things'...

'i''ve touched the hem of YOUR Garment and the flow of my despair, hurt, my most hidden iniquities was not just healed..but made WHOLE...by YOUR Sovereign and personal declaration and decree over me...

SO please, HOLY SPIRIT, jus' allow me one moment in eternity to pour out my oil and tears from that Alabaster Box of my overcoming testimony on our KING OF KING'S FEET.

That is the only reward I humbly seek...

PLEASE.

DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF OFFENSE...

FATHER, in the Name of JESUS, I have seen in Your Word, that I have to let offenses go.

FATHER, Your Word says that I must forgive those who have hurt me because You forgave me.  

I repent of the 'sin of offense' and I ask for YOUR forgiveness.

I now know I cannot forgive them completely in my own strength. 

FATHER, I submit to your Precious HOLY SPIRIT as I submit my will and deepest desire to forgive to YOU.

Therefore, as an act of my will, I choose to forgive. 

As the Heavenly Father has freely forgiven me of my sins:

I freely forgive [begin to name all the people the HOLY SPIRIT brings to mind] for the injustice I feel they have done unto me. 

I forgive them. 

I release them.

I LET IT GO!!! 

The debt has been paid in Jesus' Name! According to Your Word, I believe that the original, unsayable debt against me has been paid. 

I am free! I am free! 

I declare that I am free in Jesus' Name!

I love God's Word above making myself feel satisfied at holding a grudge against someone who hurt me.  

I love God's Word, and because I love His law:

• I'm going to have great peace in my life.

• I'm NOT going to allow any person or anything to cause me to stumble.

The Breaking Soul and Spirit Ties: Fornication

Father, in the name of Jesus, I am acknowledging that I have sinned against myself and against you by defiling my body through the sexual sin of fornication. 

Right now I need to repent of this offense and ask forgiveness of my sin. I am also repenting that I have defiled my former:

lover/husband/wife/partner by agreeing with him/her to commit the sin. 

I ask for the Blood of Jesus to cleanse me from the sin of fornication. 

Father God, as I commit to turn away and completely cease all sexual sin in

imagination and in action, I receive your forgiveness and I receive the power of the Blood of JESUS CHRIST to cleanse me from every defilement that comes with THE ACT of fornicating.

A FATHER'S BLESSING...

A FATHER'S role is to protect, to provide, to bless, and to establish his children’s identity. 

Maybe your father did that for you; maybe he didn’t. 

Perhaps he abandoned you...or abused you: sexually...physically…verbally...or emotionally.

Maybe he died before you were ready, or left you for some other reason.

Maybe he made you his pet, delighting in you so much that you haven’t been able to break away to be your own person…Perhaps he was distant, removed and showed no interest in you; 

Or he terrified you with his anger and rage.

Perhaps he made you the scapegoat for all his troubles, so that you suffered for things other people did to him.

Perhaps he blamed you for things that were not your fault at all. 

Maybe he worked too much or played too hard and never spent time with you; missed your ball games, your dance recitals, your poetry slams or track title championships.

Maybe he spent too much time forcing YOU to become the athlete, student, doctor or lawyer you never wanted to be.

Perhaps he left you in the care of hurtful, dangerous people…Maybe he didn’t see or believe you when you went to him for help.

Perhaps he was just too preoccupied with himself to see anything you wanted or needed then. 

I REALLY DON'T KNOW…. 

IF 'YOU' are willing to hear the words of

SPEAKING to you...please close your eyes for a few minutes.

I ask the Lord JESUS CHRIST by the power of HIS CROSS and BLOOD to set you free now from any harsh or cruel words that I said... especially the ones you keep remembering over and over again...I am so sorry!!!

I ask the LORD to set you free from heart injuries you sustained from me or from others in whose care I placed you.  

I ask the HOLY SPIRIT to set you free from heartache, disappointments, dread, grief, or rage you can not resolve. 

And I’m so sorry for any other struggles I may have caused you... 

May you be healed from being ignored by me...or overindulged by me.

If I ever made you feel less than or not good enough… I am deeply sorry and ask you to please forgive me. 

May the LORD set you free from working so hard to please me when nothing ever would. 

May the LORD set you free from trying to get from me what I never had to give you... I’m so sorry.

May the LORD set you free from blaming me for failing you... not because I need that, but so you can be free:

• TO GROW

• TO RECEIVE

• TO LIVE

AND 'be' creative in ways you have not yet imagined!!!

MAY the LORD give you all the things I was unable or unwilling to give you!!!

MAY the LORD guide you in ways I never could and grant you peace!!!

MAY the LORD free you from the effects of my addictions, my anxieties and my anger!!!

MAY the LORD  free you from feeling that you have to always be perfect or that you have to be what I expected you to be!!!

I PRAY that GOD will help you to see that the hurt and pain I caused you came from my own childhood. It limited me, and I am so sorry if it has limited you.

I PRAY that GOD will remove from you any belief that you were not wanted…or loved.

I PRAY that you have no doubt that you are the gender you are supposed to be. 

I PRAY that the LORD releases you NOW from any unhealthy bond that you may have with me… 

I want you to keep all of the good that came from me, and give the garbage given to me

...That I gave to YOU...

I humbly pray that TODAY you GIVE IT ALL TO GOD,  so it will not be passed down to the next generation...PLEASE!!!

Favor is always defined as a gift given in appreciation or as a result of relationship. 

TRUE Favor is something FREELY 'given', never purchased or taken from the ONE bestowing it. It is never, ever co-erced or manipulated, that is something else.

Tim...have we got this thing ALL wrong? For the last few days the Precious Holy Spirit has consistently reminded me that:

“I am the Lord, and I do not change. And so you, the descendants of Jacob, are not yet completely lost. You, like your ancestors before you, have turned away from my laws and have not kept them. Turn back to me, and I will turn to you. But you ask, ‘What must we do to turn back to you?’ (Malachi 3:6, 7 GNT)

THE ANSWER:  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV)

I know...I know... this has been preached 'ad infinitum' to the point we say it like the 'lay me down to sleep' prayer I used to say as a kid. It was a rite habitually taught, but rarely understood or even explained.

EARLY this a.m., I received a telephone call.
 
I hardly ever hear from Deacon Mo' and when I do it's usually a blast text message reminding us of a men's meeting, choir rehearsal or snow that needs shovelin'.   

Both the timing and fact that he called, at all, caught me a bit off guard.

Deacon Mo' went right in...without as much as hello and said, brother, I need you to "endure". 

It was all but too brief a call, consisting of  a quote of Galatians 6:9, an even shorter exhortation and a sudden, disconnected phone tone, that I believe I listened to longer than the actual call itself.   

And yet I was shook to the core!

HE' REMEMBERED...

Journal Entry: Christmas Day 2012

I finally hit my breaking point. 

Yesterday, December 24, 2012, in my own place of 'aloneness, hitting brick wall...after brick wall; I got frustrated,well no...let me keep this real, I got(respectfully) angry and said I just can't...I just can't any more...Lord.

I already determined, like the biblical Elisha, after his epically failed 'text message' confrontation with Jezebel, I too would go AWOL, run away to a deserted place, and hope to die. Not so much physically...as I know better ...but never the less...I wanted this heart of HIS, now beating incessantly in me to just...
