GUERRILLA WARFARE?????

DOING OUR BEST to figure out who the 'enemy' is using and how he is going to come at us next! Our bean bag counter measures, guerilla tactics...sneak attacks (in broad daylight...neve rtheless) played out over and over again, ad infinitum, in our heads.
THINKING, when we get what looks like a 'win', we did something in and ourselves to earn it...when the victory that was delivered against a foe who could've crushed us like ants...is that EXACT testament of CHRIST'S Own Mercy, STRENGTH and HIS Provenient Grace!

I KNOW 'IT' TOO WELL!!!---------
In this game of politics, relationships and well...life...I got quickly caught up in an old predilection.
Being in the middle of Babylon...a foreigner in what for me now is a strange and stranger land...walking through these [political] doors is like walking up on a CROSS BURNING and remembering...oh yeah...men with hooded faces are usually signs...my (spiritual) kind and mindset ain't welcome!
Thank GOD for The Precious HOLY SPIRIT...who when 'i' finally got still enough...whispered 'loudly' the root of a thing!
Dealing with both the symptom and the issue that causes the incessant 'bleeding out' of too many Christian souls in this diabolical season we all are being tested in!!!
WE REALLY seek to outwit the enemy so we won't get bit by a spiritual viper or poisoned by that cyanide laced kool-aid given to us by those on assignment, usually via a peer, family member or friend.
'WHEN GOD' SAYS: They/WE shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:18 KJV)
[No not saying we should try this literally! I BELIEVE a pastor did just that a few weeks ago and well...it bit him and he is 6 feet under. When we tempt GOD and the enemy...well... Faith and foolishness are two different things...]
WE TRY our best to avoid CONFLICT by anticipating... even worrying about the next test, temptation, hiccup we are trained to expect in our self-ordained plan for next level blessing...
'WHEN GOD' SAYS(Present Tense):Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (Isaiah 26:3 KJV)

LOL...no longer 'worried' about the enemy like that!
INSTEAD OF OUTWITTING A FOE WE CANNOT POSSIBLY OUTTHINK...WE ARE TOLD TO FOCUS ON CHRIST AND MINISTER UNHINDERED BY CONCERNS FOR TOMORROW OR THE PROBLEMS 'IT' MIGHT BRING...FOLLOWI NG THE HOLY SPIRIT AS JESUS CHRIST MAKES EVERY CROOKED PATH STRAIGHT!
The day is too short...and its way...way too dark out there!!!
Still watchin' and prayin' fo'sure. To not do that is plain...unwise (Matthew 26:41).
But, when I see 'it' in whatever package 'it' comes wrapped up in...I simply refuse to sign off on 'it'...close the door, if I opened 'it' AND I am sure to lock and seal 'it'...with 'repentance' and the Blood of Jesus'.
Laser focused on keeping the little house and territory leased to me clean and my business in order AND debt free (spiritually and physically) as the OWNER through legal and binding covenant made it clear HIS expectation and HIS checklist for divine compensation and chosen reward for good stewardship.
It REALLY is so simple, the victory in CHRIST JESUS!!!
But and until we truly settle down and listen...the voices in and around us will continually drown out that small still voice that is PEACE!
Never hearing, much less comprehending HIS COMMAND TO HIDE, ABIDE AND SIMPLY REST IN HIM;-)
IT IS FINISHED.
Humbled again by HIS GRACE;-)
